New Silkie!

On Monday June 29th Jeff and I picked up another silkie pullet! It was a bit of a road trip to pick her up as the 'buff' color silkies are more rare. We are calling her Butterball. She & the rest of the flock are doing good now. We had a rocky start with the pecking order but they seem to be settling into their new places. It must have been pretty stressful for her though because she seems to be going into molt - no eggs for a few weeks. That's ok because she'll come around and the other girls are continuing to produce eggs for us. I'll try not to post all chicken pictures from here on out but it'll be difficult. They are the new loves of our lives!
